Not a very professional response to pbdfpbdf. Kind of makes me believe what she said is true. Thank God there are people out there that take the time to give thorough evaluations. I'm only leaving one star because its the minimum. Would like to leave 0 stars.
I would have to agree with the original post. The ONLY reason that they do bi-weekly payments is because they get more money that way. Every fourth month you actually make THREE payments. There are no months in which you only make 1 payment. There are 4.3 weeks in a month. This is the only gym, or any place that I have ever seen that does bi-weekly payments. My husband and I are both previous Golds Gym members (approx 10-15 yrs ago) -- myself in FL; my husband in TX, DC, and VA. After relocating to TX, on my initial visit w/ Golds in Corpus, its Sales Mgr advised that they were a large-volume gym and thus did not have to offer teacher, military or law enforcement discounts. He also advised that they did not have to compete because they were a high volume corporate club. He stated that the cost of membership was "$75.96 per month plus tax."
