I had a membership with this Gold's Gym and stopped attending in November due to personal circumstances. Despite not using the facility even once after that point, my account continued to be billed monthly. Over the course of four months, I was charged in full without any usage or check-ins. I rarely leave reviews, but people should know what to expect from this location. I signed up for this gym largely because it offered a tanning bed, which was a big factor in my decision. The tanning bed has been out of order, and staff have openly said there are no plans to fix it because it’s too expensive. That alone feels misleading. On top of that, the cleanliness has gone downhill. The cleaning towelettes that members are supposed to use to wipe down equipment are frequently empty and not restocked. Pretty great gym, went here for a long time and loved the place. However would caution strongly against a membership here. Unfortunately had to cancel my membership when I was 17 due to moving away and recently found out the membership cancellation must have never went through so they sent me to collections for $180 on a 1 year membership that was “never paid” from before I turned 18. Otherwise great gym!
Go anywhere but here the manager is extremely rude
Gold’s Gym review ⭐️ This particular location has been failing for a while. It is now overrun with bratty teenagers who are too busy looking at their phones to realize anyone else might need the equipment. No one is willing to work- in with each other anymore. So, if you are looking for a quick workout, this isn’t the place for you. Plus, they also love stripping off their shirts to pose in front of any mirror. Oh and god forbid you are on the heavy side.
