Equipment constantly breaks&takes 1-2 weeks to fix,overcrowded,not a huge selection of protein shakes&it has a foul odor when you walk in.Off hand,not worth the money.

I have been a patron of this gym for the past three years and have been unimpressed with it's amenities. It's mediocre equipment and self righteous staff leaves you with an elitist vs beggar feel when you need assistance. However; that is just the beginning of the nightmare known as Gold's Gym. Golds Gym is by far best gym I've ever been too. I was 190 lbs now i am 120. I've lost about 70 lbs. I am so amazed at the results. Gold's Gym is the place to go.
Do NOT get a membership at this gym or Womens World Gym (Thomasville Rd). They are total LIARS. I faxed a membership cancellation form in and paid the $50 fee and they continue to charge my account each month and say I never paid the fee. AND if you go to the Better Business Bureau both of these gyms have F ratings. They are running a HUGE SCAM and even if you get your bank account blocked they can still get to your money. DO NOT GO HERE!
I recommend this gym to all my family and friends. It has lots of choices for a person to accomplish their goals. For examples there are lots of different classes from cycling to yoga. However i would love it to have an inside track and basketball court/ tennis court. This may also interest younger people to come to the gym.
Convenient This is a good place to work out if you work Downtown. It is easy to just head straight to the gym before going home.
