Let’s start with the most baffling flaw: the operating hours. In what world does a premium gym—one that charges a small fortune for membership—decide that 10 PM is an acceptable closing time? This isn’t 1995. People work late, travel, and keep unconventional schedules. A gym that prides itself on being a global brand should understand that fitness doesn’t adhere to banker’s hours. Gold's Gym is clean and well-maintained, with older equipment that still works fine. However, it's extremely overpriced for what it offers. Some machines, like the hip abductor, are only available in one unit—unacceptable for such an expensive membership. Another major downside: they close at 10 PM. Seriously? Many people need a gym open later. Now they're rebranding to "Phorm Fitness." Will anything actually improve, or is this just a fancy name for the same disappointing experience?
