GOLD'S GYM IN SMYRNA TENNESSEE DON'T CARE ABOUT COSTUMER AT ALL THE FRONT DESK PERSON THE HELP ME WITH MY ACCOUNTS DIDN'T KNOW HOW PAYMENTS WORK, GAVE ME THE WRONG INFORMATION SAYING I WS GOING TO PAY TWICE PER MONTH NOW I AM BEING CHANGE UP TO 5 TIMES PER MONTHS

We signed up for 1 year gym membership for my son Morgan from 6-19-2022 to 6-19-2023. I have a copy of the agreement that we signed up last year. It clearly shows the membership ends on 16/19/2023. We were also told by the young lady who did the paperwork for us that the membership would NOT be automatically renewed after 1 year. However, we are charged multiple times after 6/19/2023. We have contacted the Gym manager Nil, but he refused to refund us. He said we had to give a 30 days ahead written notice to cancel membership... read more

The Smyrna location of this gym is the most poorly maintained gym I have ever seen in the 21 years that I've lifted weights. My finger was crushed because of an incident with an adjustable bench where it was so old and rickety that it disengaged and drop me from an incline position to a flat position crushing my finger like a grape almost amputating the tip. Will not let me cancel. They also gave me inaccurate numbers to call to get the issue resolved. Very shady, horrible company.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Unresponsive customer service and fraudulent charges. I have canceled my membership in June of 2020. Got email from Golds Gym in Farragut stating that my membership has been cancelled on 6/16/20 and all membership agreements have 30 days cancellation policy so I still will be responsible for 1 extra month. Fine. I sent them a check one week later. Called in today 8/28/20 to check if they have received my check because it didn't clear my bank to learned that my account is still in free... read more

This review of Gold's Gym only concerns the membership terms (month to month) and disingenuity (deceptive business practices) on the part of Gold's Gym concerning the actual, versus stated, terms of a "no contract" and "no cancellation fee" membership. It should be noted the facility on Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro is a fine facility aside from the issue I present here.
