It you're looking for a place to talk on your cellphone or text, Gold's Gym is perfect for you. That's ALL anybody does there. If you're looking for a workout, I would go elsewhere. Management could care less about anything.
I have been a patron of this gym for the past three years and have been unimpressed with it's amenities. It's mediocre equipment and self righteous staff leaves you with an elitist vs beggar feel when you need assistance. However; that is just the beginning of the nightmare known as Gold's Gym. i highly recommend this one gym because i have gone to some of the other golds gyms and this is by far one of the better ones here in san antonio.for one there is more room to workout, people are courteous, once the machines are used the people go behind and wipe the machines.a very roomy gym.great lockers and if you have children, they take very good care of the.
Golds Gym is by far best gym I've ever been too. I was 190 lbs now i am 120. I've lost about 70 lbs. I am so amazed at the results. Gold's Gym is the place to go.

Do NOT get a membership at this gym or Womens World Gym (Thomasville Rd). They are total LIARS. I faxed a membership cancellation form in and paid the $50 fee and they continue to charge my account each month and say I never paid the fee. AND if you go to the Better Business Bureau both of these gyms have F ratings. They are running a HUGE SCAM and even if you get your bank account blocked they can still get to your money. DO NOT GO HERE!
