We recently registered at the Huntersville location. Unfortunately, the front office executive did not seem fully informed about the charges, and there were discrepancies between the pricing shown in the plan, the contract, and what was communicated to us. Used to be one of my favorite gyms, AC has been broken for over a week, no time table when fixed, no consessions, only 3 fans in use at this location. Do better.
Update after ignorant management response on 6/14: Current status haven't used gym since October 24 I am forced to continue to pay through Feb 26 or pay a $221 termination fee. Aggressive contracts that are outsourced to a third party to avoid negotiation of ever letting you of contract. Excessive fees leaky gym no equipment upgrades despite additional yearly fees. Really? Overall experience is not great. Just about everything could use more attention from maintenance to gym layout. Starting out the facility is small and has way to many people and the equipment is way to packed in and cramped. But the real issue is the fact that just about everything is broken most of the time or never filled. Toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels to dry your hand is always empty. This location is pretty small and always crowded. They also don’t have fitness classes, which I didn’t realize until I was almost done with the sign up process. I should have walked away, that’s on me. Between those two things the value just isn’t there. I chose the gym based on proximity to my home.
