Gold's Gym in South Boston is very disappointing! – This Gold's gym is terrible! The people who work the front desk are full of attitude, and that's only the beginning. The manager is rude and condescending. It's always filthy in there. The other day, I had to try 4 or 5 treadmills to find one that didn't have gum stuck to it, or dirty tissues in the drink holders. AVOID THE SCAM!! – UPDATED BELOW: I love Gold's Gyms! Clean, affordable, excellent equipment and facilities. The problem with this particular location is you need a certain level of self confidence to exist there peacefully if you're out of shape. Jerky jock types will definitely size you up in there. Also the women's private gym area is all the way on the other end of the building.
