Made an appointment with James for a weekday morning in their SF showroom. He flaked on us and then asked us to come to the Berkeley showroom instead. He showed us the some of the windows. Then we worked with Nathan to get the windows and door ordered. The items we ordered showed up about 5 weeks later but they were all the wrong size by a couple inches. I would not recommend. The rep stood us up at our appt and maybe that should have been our sign to go elsewhere. But we accepted the apology and proceeded. We placed our order, and they make you pay in full before delivery. When our order arrived the sizing was smaller than agreed upon. When we told them about it there was no apology. They told me they can place an change order but it will take 6 weeks, do I really want to make a big deal over a few inches and make them put in a change order? Terrible experience. They botched an expensive order and refused accountability. Seems like lots of turnover as we dealt with different people every time within a 6 month period and they just communicated so poorly. I cannot recommend this business.
Not impressed with my experience there. In our sales rep minds you are a one and done customer so there is no urgency to communicate and help you with any issues that may come up with your order. If you are putting in a big order - beware! golden state has a hold of you and they don’t really try to make an effort to resolve some of their mistakes.
