Doctors are fantastic but I’ve had a terrible experience with coordinating my referral to Orthopedic Oncology at Stanford. I was referred out to Stanford for a mass in my ankle but Golden State didn’t send medical records with the clinic note, so I had to call and make them do this which took a few days. Stanford also called and faxed them to obtain the MRI images and golden state never replied or answered. This is so unnecessary in 2026.
Always plenty of parking, and the offices are really clean. The receptionist are always really friendly and efficient, and I never had to wait long for my appointment. Dr. Kim handled my pre-surgery and posts recovery, he’s always super professional and empathetic. I trust him fully through my journey to recover from my Achilles rupture.
