The staff is very friendly and efficient. I am a patient of Doctor Camilla MacCalmont, she is a terrific doctor: she is intelligent, patient, clear in her explanations, willing to take the time necessary to help her patient, very aware of the latest advances in her field. Golden State Dermatology is lucky to have her on board. I recommend her highly.
I have been a patient of Dr. McCalmont's for 30 years. She makes you comfortable in her presence and provides to all my dermatology needs. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment to see her you will not be disappointed.
Dr. McCalmont is fantastic, though she is not taking new patients. Dr. McCalmont has been a steady presence. However, I have seen a lot of turnover in other doctors at Golden State Dermatology. The office staff are helpful.
Dr McCalmont is the epitome of medical excellence. She is what one hopes for in all of one’s doctors. She is thoughtful and patient and an excellent communicator. She wants you to understand what is going on with your skin! And she is extremely thorough! You leave feeling confident that you are in the best hands and you need not worry!
