I'm delighted to share my experience with Golden Sands ALF. When my parents were home, they would elope and I didn’t know where they went. An enlightening experience. Home from home. Meticulously kept, staffed by the most qualified, caring and humorous folk. So happy to have discovered this gem, which is so reasonably priced.
My mother lived the last three years of her life at Golden Sands. They were very kind to her and met all her needs, which were considerable. She was always smiling when she saw the staff and when I visited, I could see they treated her respectfully and patiently. I dont understand the comments about dark and gloomy as it's typical of most homes in the area. My mother moved from NY a few weeks ago and into Golden Sands. Swaby made the move seamless. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. My mother is a picky eater and she absolutely loves every meal they cook for her. They take such good care of her that all she does is smile. They have a terrific backyard with a huge mango tree that we can’t wait to try! We definitely recommend Golden Sands. Your loved one will be well cared for.
