There not telling the whole story. The barn is 70 ft long and needs a downspout on each side. They insisted on placing both downspouts on the same end agents my advice. Water will run to lowest point, which happened to be opposite end, mean there new barn had dropped on that end. She said it was holding two inches of water which means it has dropped two inches. Neither one of them understood. I'd have to drop the side with the downspout 3 inches to get the water to flow . At that point the water would over shoot the gutter. ... read more

Golden Rule Seamless Gutters installed a 6" gutter along our new barn. We explained water would need to drain to the north, so Vernon installed 2 downspouts on the north. After rain events, water would overspill on the south into my horse corral. Exactly opposite of what I wanted. The gutter nearest my horse is holding 2" of water while the end with the downspouts is dry. The slope of the gutter system is backward.
