This place is run by incompetent thieves and liars. I would like management to acknowledge their incompetency.
Under current Executive Director, Golden Pond has become a Dumpster Fire of a facility. Memory Care unit is woefully understaffed. Highest fall rate — Dad fell 5 times in 4 years. Highest medication errors — they almost killed him twice, requiring hospitalization. Now I got him into a superior facility and they are chasing me for two months “Notice,” totaling $11,000. Money grubbers. Patient care is NOT the priority here, at all. Very sad. I cried as we left what was once a wonderful place to be.

Golden Pond is the most wonderful memory care facility in Massachusetts. I ended up moving my husband there after several other assisted-living facilities could not handle his behavior. He was in and out of the Geri psych units as well. The Golden Pond staff knew how to handle him and kept him under control and as happy as possible. He felt safe and comfortable there. It was an hour from my home but worth the inconvenience.
