A solid place for takeout. I got the lo mein which could have had more texture in the noodles, but I also tried the sesame tofus, which had an excellent sauce. Food was hot and ready for takeout.
this was the worst Shrimp Egg Foo Young I ever had. There was no flavor, barely any gravy. I had to get the bottle of soy sauce from my pantry. Terrible
I have gotten really good food from this restaurant in the past. This is why I gave it two stars vs. a negative one star. I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. My last order was really bad. Food was tasteless. Our order was wrong. No rice for any of the dishes. There was water in the pan fried dish. The cost was almost $90.00.
The atmosphere is great. the food presentation is good. But the taste is lack originality. Something you can find at any cheap take out shop. why am I paying premium for the mediocre taste. At least take out, the meal is hot. This place because the plate was cold? all the food came out cold. I even request to spice up but had no heat at all. Unacceptable. Surprisingly rice was bit harder than it should be. (I know how it should be cooked.)
