Too Stereotypical Not everyone in the Midwest eats meat. That's something that restaurant owners need to keep in mind. It was very difficult to find something to eat in this restaurant because even spaghetti came with meat sauce. Marinara sauce wasn't even an option. Also, a Coke costs more than a Pepsi. They have Pepsi "on draft" but Cokes in cans. It's confusing. Wouldn't go back.
The best in Braidwood We have been going to the Golden Mine for years. Before moving to the area we use to drive 30 minutes just to eat breakfast every week-end. The food is the best. Our favorite is breakfast. The pork chops are juicy and taste so good. And the help is also the best. Worth the trip.
because it won't let me give it no stars... My family and I go to the Golden Mine a couple of times a month. When I saw a deal on restaurant.com for $15 off of $30 at this restaurant, I couldn't pass it up. I bought 4! Being a week after christmas, we don't have much money.
