I can’t recommend Derek highly enough! I was having some lower leg issues that would not go away after several weeks of physiotherapy. Just finished an acupuncture session with Derek for some work and lifestyle upper pack pain. I went in not knowing what to expect and finished feeling like a whole new person! Derek is professional and personal and gave me some mindful movements that can be incorporated into my daily life. I’m definitely going back!
Derek has been practicing acupuncture and medicine for some time now and is passionate about it. The treatments I have had from him have been effective and releasing. For a while I could barely put my foot down on my pedal while driving due to calf muscle restriction. One treatment for this area fixed the problem and I have not had problems ever since.
Great new Chinese medicine practitioner in Cowichan. Super responsive, respectful, and gives you way more time than a doctor would. I have ongoing digestive issues and he has helped relieve them through treatments, but also with suggestions for changing my diet.
