Dr May is great, other Dr isn't. First I'll say Dr May is GREAT! very reasonable prices.. very sociable and concerned doctor. But his lady doctor that's working there is a nightmare. Twice I've taken a dog to them and she saw us.. both times her prognosis were grim and said we needed emergency surgery. This last time, I said we'd have to wait till a normal surgery date 2 days away. I felt we should just get antibiotics for my dog and get an infection under control first, then do a scheduled surgery monday (only 2 days away).... read more
If you need a vet in Fairbanks, Dr. May should be your first choice! Our cat was hit by a car recently, breaking his femur in his hind leg and and doing some other damage. We'd heard good things about Dr. May and Golden Heart, so that was our first choice. We simply couldn't have had a better experience in getting our loved pet the care he needed.
