I woke up and came downstairs looking for coffee at 6:30am, no one else was awake in the hotel. Ryan got me a hot cup of coffee AND let me charge my phone (I forgot my charger at home) Ryan’s ability to go above and beyond on the simple things made my stay here wonderful. Go Ryan! Give that guy a raise and promotion! He saw me, met a small need and brightened my day with his stories and smile!😊
The Golden Gate Saloon is an absolute gem in Grass Valley. I grabbed a seat at the bar, and Joaquin took amazing care of me from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, he made an already great experience even better. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating, plus plenty of room at the bar. The beet salad was delicious, unfortunately my salmon was raw.
Mia was an AMAZING server, and, the Fish Tacos were incredible.
Classy cocktail bar with some great drinks!
