What an interesting visit ! Very old RACV Depot and Towing A Fabulous 1946 Chev Tow Truck, Auto History and More
Eccentric toy and car museum in an old petrol station on the main street. A relic of a bygone age.
I recently spent an afternoon in Beechworth with my two sons, 7 & 12. We stumbled upon this and it was the best part of our day. The man who runs this is a national treasure! He grew up in Beechworth and ran this car garage for decades. He is now retired and has an incredible collection of toy vehicles and other memorabilia. He has so many stories to tell. If you are a vintage car enthusiast or similar and passing through, I recommend grabbing a take away coffee and heading over for a yarn.
A very busy garage in the main street of Beechworth located in what used to be a Service Station. Inside in what used to be the shop is an amazing collection of old model vehicles on display that the owner has collected over time. The owners were extremely friendly and were more than happy for me to view this collection and shoot some photos. I'm glad I didn't just stroll on past but decided to explore further in search of a photo opportunity. By way of an update, there is now a pop up cafe operating from within the driveway... read more
