I just today tried golden eagle syrup and must say I think it is terrible syrup. It was like melted hard candy , but no good syrup taste. I missed looking at the ingredients of it at the store or I wouldn’t have purchase it , and was surprised when I did look and saw it was made from high fructose corn syrup. I’m even more surprised it’s been made the same way for ninety years. I don’t believe the original makers had high fructose corn back then. Anyway, I’ve tried it.
