I went to eat a late lunch today. When I attempted to place my order the person working there said I had to order the full size combination dinner since they stopped serving the lunch menu options. I showed him on their sign it said lunch until 3 pm. He looked at his phone and said it is now 3:01 pm. I thought he was joking but he was serious. No customers at all and he was doing nothing, I am very disappointed in the lack of service since I was there just prior to 3 pm.
This is one of my favorite places to get take-out! Great food and very nice people. Clean and fast!

There was hair in my food TWICE!! I'm disgusted ....
Golden China is in a strip mall, which made me a little wary, at first. Thank goodness I don't believe in first impressions. Everything is clean though it is a little small. It only seats 32, 8 tables of 4. Everytime I've been there the same people are working but every meal I've had is made like it's the first of the day. The customer service is great, and they always seem genuinely happy. I wish it weren't half an hour from the house, but since it is, I'll gladly drive it!!
I just ordered from there and used a coupon for 2 free springs rolls. when i went to pick up my food they clearly charged me for the spring rolls but wouldn't give me a break down of the prices. the lady at the counter told me i was a typical American always wanting something for free!!!! i can't believe she had the nerve to say that to me! i will never eat there again and ill be sure to tell everyone how terrible this place is.
Living in Ohio for 18 years I have tried many Chinese restaurants. Out of the many I've been to, Golden China still stands out as the best! They have your food to you almost before you order (okay that's an exaggeration, but it's fast!). One would think speed equals less quality, but it's intact some of the tastiest Chinese I've ever eaten. Kudos Golden China!
My husband and I moved away from Newport, WA area about three years ago and we really miss the find food and staff here. We cannot find a China Restaurant as good as things here in TX. Thank you guys!
For months, I was filled with anticipation at the opening of a Chinese Restaurant I could actually walk to! My bubble was deflated when I went to Golden China as was told that I had to pay extra to use my visa card because I did not order enough. Pity they have lost a potentially frequent customer due to their own greed.
