I visited Golden Chick Rowlett Lakeview, 9103 Lakeview Parkway, around lunchtime and had a very disappointing experience. The food was greasy, overcooked, and clearly had been sitting under a heat lamp. The roll was hard as a rock, the fries were limp and oily, and the overall presentation was disgusting. Me and my wife stopped by last night to eat at Golden Chick. The store was very clean and looked brand new. The staff was professional and welcoming. We also appreciated the free ice cream — even though the young man was in the middle of cleaning the machine, it was still a nice touch.
Why even have the free ice cream sign up? That machine has worked 3 times in the 3 years I’ve ate here. Take it down
