When I walked into this store last week, I said hi to my friend that works as a cashier, and I ended up overhearing what I assumed to be the manager on shift make a disgusting racial remark against me involving the N word. This cannot be regular behavior that is accepted by Golden Chick staff. When I left, I went to their competitor KFC. Much better place to spend your money and time

Love the okra
I'm always out searching for the next best fried chicken joint out here in North Texas, and I think I found it (until I find the next one, that is!). Very small joint but boy oh boy, the chicken here is fantastic. I tried the 3 tender combo, spicy and with fried okra and a dinner roll on the side. Gotta say, the tenders were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. The okra, also breaded, seasoned and fried to perfection.
