If I could give this shop a million stars I would! My son is 4 with level 3 autism I’ve tried and reached out to other places unfortunately there’s not many places for kids on the spectrum to get a haircut but my son was able to get his very first cut at golden blades Moises (the man who cut my son’s hair) was extremely patient! We had such a wonderful experience at this barbershop with my 6-year-old son, who is autistic. Haircuts can often be very overwhelming and frustrating for him, but the barber was incredibly patient, understanding, and compassionate throughout the entire visit. What stood out the most was how well the barber recognized when my son needed a break and never rushed him. The stylist is Antonio, I came in as a walk-in, I explained to him that my son has sensory issues and doesn’t have autism which I’m looking for a suitable- super patience person to cut my son’s hair but I had no luck with any other stylist because they couldnt assist my son properly . I took my 6 year old autistic son here. He is high functioning. He hasn’t been at a barber shop in a few years. His experience here was great. He was so relaxed during his haircut that he was falling asleep. I thank God for that because hair cuts were a big struggle for us. We found a barber who understands my son and gave him a great experience at the barber shop. Thank you Golden Blades for your patience and kindness!
Had an amazing hair cut experience with Tony for my level 2 Autistic Son. As many will know, finding the right barbershop is such a struggle because the environment. It can be overwhelming for our little ones.In our case, sensory overload it common with our son.
