My horse Arrow was supposed to be seen in office today first thing this morning for a leg injury that hasn’t been healing well, we ended up with a trailer problem, so we had to limp back to our stables. I had to cancel our appointment, only for them to fit us in for a mobile appointment a few hours later. I’m very thankful for them for doing that and for making my horses health important. Dr. Gary is the first equine doctor in a long time to make me feel like he is really on my side, truly cares about my horse, and is suggesting his most efficient and accurate treatment. He is very straight forward about what he thinks will work and about prognosis. He is also really kind and easy to get along with. My protective, worried horse parent nerves are calmed by his professionalism and careful evaluation of my horse. I appreciate him greatly.

I wish I wasn't writing this, but credit is due. I put my cat of almost 20 years down today. The staff at Golden Animal Hospital was a huge comfort. I felt patience and compassion from everyone I interacted with. The decision was incredibly hard, but the actual passing was done with love and tenderness. I am forever grateful for these people.
My sweet Bella passed away this week, just minutes before our vet appointment (I was hoping for a small miracle or some pain management for just one more day). I was such a wreck when we pulled up. Lindsey met us at the car and was so wonderful. She wasn't sure if the crematorium did ink paw prints as well as molds - so she did prints herself and mailed them with a very sweet note that I received today. So bittersweet to open the mail tonight, but so grateful for that extra step that Lindsey took! Thank You!
