This guy is awful! I am in court with him attending a resentencing hearing. He has billed $50,000 for his time working on this case. He did not bring his notes, deposition, reports and couldn't even answer basic questions about adolescent trauma without having a PowerPoint slide in front of him. There is no way he even reviewed his depo or the notes from his interview with the defendant before he came to court. Mr. Gold, you need to give that money back and then retire.
Dr. Gold is a true expert at what he does. His genuine, understated, warm style is very non-threatening and welcoming. After many, many years and unsuccessful attempts at therapy to treat the effects of severe abuse, I have finally found a therapist who TRULY gets it. Thank you, Dr. Gold.
