Unfortunately, did not have a great experience with Gold Star. Purchased a preowned 90hp outboard to repower a nice little boat with my son. Paid for service to have it installed. Upon pick up and first sea trial the engine stalled and needed a tow back into the harbor. Returned the boat to the shop and they made it right (needed to remove more water in the fuel). These guys have bailed us out twice in the last several years, both times when our boat failed while crabbing at Fort Flagler. In both cases, they got us in on the same day we called and had our boat back to us to get us back on the water. Most recently, I took them some stove top oatmeal cookies as thanks. Hope they enjoyed them!
