Get directionsCalled about three weeks ago for a preventive maintenance service, didn't really have a day available that fit my schedule so I decided to take the Friday afternoon time slot between 2pm and 6pm on July 14th. Well, that times come and gone, no one available to take a call, I've tried 3 x today to at least get an idea since they didn't call me. Literally about half a day of my work to have no one show up or even so much as call. Guess they've got enough business they don't need mine.
Gold Star replaced our very old furnace today. The appointment with Shane for the initial quote was at our convenience and the price for what was included beat the other two quotes we obtained. The service techs were polite and professional, work was done as stated in a timely manner. Jason, Nate, David and Josh did a thorough job including all system checks. We were very pleased with our experience and would not hesitate to recommend Gold Star.
Would not reccomend! I'm very unimpressed with Gold Star at this point. (I couldn't even get a call back when I made a complaint about my frustrations. They got their money out of me for no work so I guess I'm not a valued customer anymore.) I got an offer in the mail for a $70 maintenance special. I got right on it because I just bought a new house and knew it needed a tune up. received an offer in the mail for an a/c tune up. called the number 3 times to set up an appointment. Left a message. Never heard back. That tells me that if I had a serious a/c problem..........no response.
My experience wasn't worth 5 stars. A yearly service visit was not performed thoroughly due to the system's age. Instead, I got a quote for r&r. System works without any issues, even at 100-degree temps. I did pay for the service, so the heatpump and the air handler should have been properly cleaned and lubricated.
