We had a great experience working with Gold Standard for our event. Courtney was so incredibly easy to coordinate with, very responsive, and communicated clearly from start to finish. Their pricing was also refreshingly affordable, which we really appreciated. On the day of the event, they handled all alcohol handoffs smoothly and professionally. Gold Standard Bartending went above and beyond for us at our wedding a few weeks ago! From the start, Courtney was professional, quick with communication, and so organized. She even called a few days before the wedding to review our plan and make sure nothing needed adjusting — which gave us so much peace of mind. On the day, the team did so much more than I expected! I worked with Gold Standard Bartending to set up a mocktail bar for a corporate event in Calgary. Right from the start the experience was great - Courtney helped me to design a drink menu, and brought in all the drink ingredients (including her bar and tools). We had a major miscommunication issue that took up a significant chunk of our wedding night to deal with. We did not want to put a tip jar on the bar so Courtney requested that we pay the tip up front, which we did. We had a donation box for people to help pay for the drinks which the bartender told everyone that it was for her and when I tried to correct her she got upset and left (she did come back after some friends of ours talked to her and calmed her down).
