Having done a similar dog-sledding experience before, our kids were excited to do it again as a cruise excursion. They still had fun, and the staff were friendly, but overall the experience was disappointing by comparison and felt somewhat like a tourist trap. We got a late start because the group was waiting for a few guests, and the sled ride itself was quite short. Went on a cruise excursion last Wednesday with my mom to the dog sled camp. It was a perfect excursion for my elderly mom. Kevin was very thoughtful about safety and did a great job answering all of our questions. He was a great tour musher! We learned all about the dogs, took a summer sled ride with the dogs, and held chonky puppies they were socializing. Got some great pics of the camp along with the majestic scenery. Highly recommend.
