Had a great time with Josh and his dogs today. Got introduced to what it takes to raise, train and compete in this sport. Meeting the puppies and learning Iditarod history was the icing on the cake.

We had a great time at this excursion. Booked through our cruise but was worth it even with the mark up because we did get back quite late in the day, close to when the ship was departing. We got a ride on a dog-pulled carriage, time to meet and pet our sled dogs, several historical explanations about the dogs and the Iditarod and then met the puppies. If you love dogs, do not support this company. I booked this excursion for my family on our Disney Cruise. This place made me cry and ruined what otherwise had been an awesome cruise. I can’t believe Disney even offers this tour to families. It was beyond disgusting and sad! So sorry I paid $800 for my family to see sad dogs chained up, laying on gravel with inadequate shelter. 😢. Do something else with your time and money!!!
