Their dogs do bite one of the handlers confirmed it. They said one of their dogs bit a kid and some different dogs have bit some of them recently.
This was by far our favorite cruise excursion. It was so much fun and we got to hold a puppy!
Visited in August and loved every minute! Great education, wonderful dogs and a fun ride. I’d go again in a heartbeat.
We were greeted warmly by Earl E. Bird, just steps off of our cruise, and enjoyed the gold rush knowledge and lively commentary he shared during our tour. During the dog tour portion, Theresa shared engaging anecdotes about her experience running the Iditarod race over many years. Seeing the demonstration of the sled dogs training ground was super interesting, and, of course, the puppies were so cute and cuddly. I'd highly recommend this tour excursion during your visit to Skagway.
