If you haven’t been to Gold Restaurant in Burlington yet, put it on your list. We went during happy hour from 4:30 to 6:00 PM for the $1 oyster special, and wow. We had 3 dozen oysters, and every single one was incredibly fresh and delicious. We paired them with a bottle of rosé Vinho Verde, which was crisp, refreshing, and the perfect match. This place is amazing. Everything I ordered was seasoned perfect, garnished beautifully, and delicious. The vibe was great, staff were attentive and helpful with suggestions. Strong drinks, and parking makes this place a must! (Music was also amazing?
What a great evening we had tonight. Food was yummy. Staff is really attentive and fun to engage. I love having this place in the hood.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. I went with extended family for my birthday and although the dining area is small, we called ahead and they were able to accommodate a table of seven. We happened to go on a Wednesday and were pleased to find out that their outstanding cocktails are half off on Wednesdays. Pure Gold! We went here for an early birthday dinner courtesy of my son. Everything was perfectly done and delicious. I had the Lemon Pea Gnocchi. So subtle and delicious. My husband had the Mussels which were perfect. They came with fries that seemed unusual, but we're extremely good. My son had the crispy Brussel Sprouts Eggplant fillets.
