We enjoyed the whole Gold mine Experience. The road getting there was interesting and all part of the experience. We learned a lot about mining from our tour guide. The people were friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend for anyone who is interested in mining and mining history.
Awesome place. Well worth the trip.
Went here on Sunday 3/15 and had a great time. We got there in UTV's but you could make it in a rig with decent clearance. The road wasn't too bad and you have to go slow anyway. Owners were super nice and we really enjoyed the mine tour. Had lunch there (prices are very reasonable!) and sat in the shade by the water wheel and enjoyed recorded music over the speakers. We had a great time touring the mine and talking to the tour guide! Very informative! Listen to some great country music and ate a hot dog! Love how it is dog friendly! Can’t wait to come back again next year and see all the progress!
Took a tour of the mine yesterday and had a burger. I'm glad I stopped in, the tour was incredible! I will be back for sure!
