I wanted something a bit grittier and unconventional for my pregnancy shoot and Mikayla delivered in spades. My partner and I both love billiards so she met us in our favourite dive bar for the shoot. She gave us direction when we needed it but mostly we just played pool which kept us both pretty relaxed. Mikayla and Nathaniel are the most incredible photographers you could ever work with! They shot our wedding day and it was truly the most magical experience with them. We went for a mini back and white portrait session with both my girls. Mikayla was so warm, funny and got right on my kids’ level cracking all sorts of age appropriate jokes. Our photos came back quickly and are beautiful! Each picture truly captures my kid just as their natural self. Not posed or staged- just a sweet snapshot of their current little self.
