I've learned the hard way to never call 911 for an ambulance. If I'm ever non-responsive from a blood sugar of 42 again, my husband will drag me to the car and drive me to the hospital himself. They are out of network for everyone! They charged $1,056 to come to the house and administer glucose through an IV. They didn't even transport me to the hospital. I think we are all ready for AFD to have their own ambulances and get rid of this eye sore on the community.
great service - and even called them few days later to make sure they thank the EMTs the helped me... however... like someone else said, they will tell insurance company about being out of network causing more cost to us, the public, and the public is being bankrupted by the medical services provided. My insurance company told me if I get a bill from them, then I need to contact my insurance company immediately.
Do not use them at all costs.They will try to dbl dip. Will state out of network when they are contracted through area hospitals. Made multiple threats on the bill, put lean on your resident taxes. Very unprofessional, caused more injuries when they dumped me in my front yard, so glad our ring camera cought it all. Dang ambulance rode like I was strapped in our semi trailer. Horrible experience, next time I'll drive myself.
The staff is poorly trained I have epilepsy and they let the police dictate what was wrong with me and the cops claimed it was methamphetamine (even though that was proven wrong) and the ambulance attendant instead of treating it like a medical emergency she sat there and did absolutely nothing so clearly the won't help you if the police say your on drugs and this is going to turn a medical emergency into a patients dying because they didn't get the help they need and when I called and complained she just kept repeating basi... read more
