한국인 여행객인데 아이가 갑자기 아파서 방문했어요. 일단 970불 정도의 돈을 미리 지불해야 진료를 받을 수 있었죠. 그런데 병원에 도착해서 의사를 만나는 데만 3시간을 대기하며 제가 요청해서 해열제 2가지 얻어먹었어요. 의사를 만나고도 또 긴 대기시간. 의사는 친절했어요. 아이가 물 먹는걸 거부하면 전해질 같은 걸 코로 집어넣야한다기에 겁에 질려 결국 물을 많이 먹이게 하니 병원에선 아무런 조치가 필요없다고 집으로 보내더라고요. 거의 6시간 정도를 병원에서 대기하다 큰 성과없이 호텔로 왔네요.

This is the second time I have had to come to the gcuh Ed. The first time I came, I arrived by ambulance because I had virtually amputated my little finger with a circular saw. I didn't have to wait too long and I have a great respect for the nurses and doctors who made me feel as comfortable as possible. The next day the surgeons managed to reattach finger . This time I arrived by private car with severe abdominal pains. The wait was longer than the first but once in, I was taken care of so well by the amazing young nurses.... read more

Guy at emergency department tonight on shift. Is unprotected, rude, and a disgrace to Qld health.

Staggered at the one star reviews. Staff have always been friendly and helpful across many, many visits. Doctors, nurses, surgeons, and all staff have always been great. I'm sure it's not always the easiest job, but GCUH is THE hospital to go to for emergency or specialist treatment.
