Imi came out and supported myself and my friends as my beautiful horse suffered a really abnormal and scary sickness. She was the only vet that came out after hours after calling 10 different vets. What she proceeded to show us was the utmost kindness, sensitivity and effort in trying to save our girl. We have always dealt with Gold Coast Equine Clinic for our horses for just basic vaccinations and we liked their professionalism and how they handled our horses however after last night they really stepped up their game and I had to come and leave a review. We had a horse presenting with colic symptoms, and Dr. Imi came out to see her. Rhian and her team have been our vets for 4+ years and we have always been entirely supported and impressed by them and their service. From routine checks to challenging, unknown situations, the team are always professional and thorough with our precious ponies! The vets always have and give time to explain and go through options, which is so refreshing. I can't thank the entire team at Gold Coast Equine enough, they saved my mare 'Tuesday'. Tuesday had colic and ended up with a displacement (bad news), surgery was not a likely option for me so they tried everything possible to save her. She had around the clock care in hospital from Dr Rhian, Dr Imi, Dani and the other nurses as well. Dani managed to lunge her guts back into place. I rescued a mare who turned out to be in foal. From the ultrasound, to the complicated birth of the foal, GC Equine and Dr Rhian have been incredibly thorough, understanding and reliable. Dr Rhian is world class, and the whole team are great to deal with. There have been a couple emergency visits for my foal, and after hours too - they've been reliable.
