I am truly grateful to have you all on my side especially in those scary after hours moments , knowing you will always come is a massive relief . GCEC are knowledgeable & their customer care is excellent. Dr Rhian and her team are one of the only vets who do emergency call outs in the area, highlighting that they take their duties to the clients & the profession seriously. GCEC give back to the community by supporting local NFP riding clubs and events, again showing their dedication and support to local horse owners and the sport at large. We are very lucky to have this team on the Gold Coast.
Imi came out and supported myself and my friends as my beautiful horse suffered a really abnormal and scary sickness. She was the only vet that came out after hours after calling 10 different vets. What she proceeded to show us was the utmost kindness, sensitivity and effort in trying to save our girl. She not only ensured my horse was comfortable, but also myself and my friends who help care for my mare. We have always dealt with Gold Coast Equine Clinic for our horses for just basic vaccinations and we liked their professionalism and how they handled our horses however after last night they really stepped up their game and I had to come and leave a review. We had a horse presenting with colic symptoms, and Dr. Imi came out to see her. She wasn’t flippant and she listened to all our concerns and wasn’t going to leave and call it a day after she started to improve slightly, she stayed and waited to make sure. Rhian and her team have been our vets for 4+ years and we have always been entirely supported and impressed by them and their service. From routine checks to challenging, unknown situations, the team are always professional and thorough with our precious ponies! The vets always have and give time to explain and go through options, which is so refreshing.
