I’ve stayed in some incredible hotels, the ritz Paris, the plaza New York, and burn Al Arab dubai, and of course the luxury at those hotels is unmatched, but what are they missing do you ask? Warmth and character. The comforting hug you feel as you of recline into your Nans lazy boy with an earl grey. That’s precisely what Coolangatta airport motel has. They go the extra mile - leaving 2 minute noodles in your room or offering you great value airport parking. I highly recommend this fine establishment.

An older style motel but great value if you just want the basics. Rooms and facilities are kept very clean, the beds are comfortable and the reception and house keeping staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The beach is just around the corner and the North Kirra Surf Club is only a few minutes walk if you want a sit down meal or a drink overlooking the ocean. Other shops/cafes are only a short drive away or the bus stop is right next to the motel if you would rather leave the car and avoid parking issues. Would definite... read more
