Goebbert's has been in the farm market business since 1948. George Goebbert started a roadside vegetable stand in Arlington Heights. In 1972, Jim Goebbert bought the 40-acre farm in South Barrington and moved his family. Jim's three children started selling pumpkins on the roadside in 1973. It got so busy one Saturday, Jim had to close the Arlington Heights stand, to come home and help with the pumpkin sales. The fall festival was born. At Goebbert's, we offer three seasons - spring, summer and fall. Walk through our garden ... read more

I love Goebberts! They have so much to do at pumpkin season and are always friendly and fun. The prices are great and they have the BEST pecan pie anywhere. We go every year and wouldnt miss it for the world. The only thing I really do not like is the animals in cages. Drives me nuts seeing them all caged up and the large cats look drugged. PROS: Fun, Friendly, Great Prices, Tons to See and Do CONS: Animals on display
Go during Halloween! This is such a great place and I always make a point of visiting them at least a couple times a year. They have some great produce and goodies, literally right off the farm. They have a tractor ride and a small petting zoo. But the best time to go is right before Halloween. They really dress the place up with fun decorations, and they have great deals on pumpkin pie, costumes, and knick knacks. They are so friendly and welcoming here. And just seeing that giant pumpkin outside their farm brings a smile t... read more
Goebberts Took the drive to Goebberts last Fall & we did ride a camel. As an adult, this was probably the only time I will get to ride such a fantastic animal. The animal rights activists should just stay home. Seriously. My only complaint was wanting to take photos with a baby tiger/lion cub & they wanted to charge $40.00 for the photo! (we refused to pay it after spending enough money already!) The kids, my husband & I really enjoyed Goebberts! We're going again today!
Hampshire Goebberts I just want to say that we make this outing every year to the Hampshire farm. This farm is bousting with many things for kids to do. The farm is clean, there is plenty of good food, pretty places to take pictures and the staff is friendly and knowledgable. Although they do get busy, I had an issue with my disabled son and the lady who stamped my hand on this busy saturday took the time to help me. You could tell she genuinely cared about the people who were visiting this establishment. I had a great day a... read more
I love Goebberts!! I've been to both Goebberts more than once. There are things I like about both. If you're going just to pick up some apple cider and want to just go to shop, then you want to go to the Goebbert's in Barrington. You don't have to pay admission til your past the store. The one in Hampshire used to only have farm animals but now it offers some of the more exotic animals like the one in Barrington has. They are both fairly equal in my mind now. Hampshire is a little more open and less congested though.
Make sure you go in the Fall We make an annual family outing to Goebbert's. We go around Halloween to get our pumpkins, fresh corn on the cob, produce, etc. They have lots of rides, haunted house and a petting zoo to keep the kids entertained. They have a wide variety of food stands set up and you can eat there. Great day trip!
Love it I got married on Sweetest Day five years ago and after the small private wedding we took our kids to Goebberts in South Barrington. We make this an annual event on our wedding Anniversary. Our kids are 6 and 7 and they have grown up with this farm. They love it and we love it. This place will always have a special place in my heart. Today is the 19th and guess what It's my 5th year wedding anniversary and we are on our way to Farm!
go to Randy's My wife and I stopped at the Goebbert's in Hampshire with our 4 month old son to snap a few pictures and buy some apple cider. Apparently the $6.50 admission fee applies to people who just wanna buy something. So a $5 gallon of apple cider (way over priced to begin with) in essence costs $11.50, $22.50 if my wife and son come in with me. They do have fun stuff for older kids don't get me wrong, but we are thirty and the petting zoo isn't that appealing anymore. My son is more entertained by his feet than some o... read more
