I’m a fool to have trusted Anthony over a handshake. Brought him a disassembled low mileage Mazda motor to rebuild. Asked him to measure and let me know if we could get by with a light hone and new rings. I was told my motor was done and would work fine but I found compression was always too low. Called Anthony and we spoke several times he recommended I give it extra time for the rings to seat but compression and even oil dropped very low after a few thousand miles. They do such good work that dealerships and private builders flood them. Turn around for me was a bit slow but their block sleeve specialist was on vacation when I brought it in. 10 years later I brought in a cylinder head that was cut in just a few days.
