Godspeed Events & Lodging has a nice idea and a lot of potential, but the overall experience was mixed. The setting and concept are appealing, especially for events or group stays, and there’s clearly effort put into the space. However, some aspects felt less polished than expected. God Speed Events is a phenomenal place to stay and a wonderful experience It is beautiful property, reasonably priced and close to Penn State. Bart is a gracious welcoming host as you will ever find. It is just a great place to stay for individuals, families and groups.
I have attended the Barrelhouse Writer's Camp at Godspeed for the past three years and each time it has been an incredible, dare I say, life-changing experience. Beyond the beauty of the location, Bart and his family are the most kind and generous hosts and each meal is delicious. I cannot say enough good things about this place and recommend it to everyone I know. If you enjoy being outdoors and the majesty of nature unobstructed you must stay at Godspeed at least once.
Delivered rental items here for a wedding. Bart was great to work with and has very nice, clean, and up-to-date facilities. Great experience working with Godspeed.
Godspeed is a little slice of heaven on earth. I had the pleasure of visiting with a large group over the summer. We were well taken care of by Bart. The accommodations are exceptionally comfortable and clean, and the grounds are beautiful and well kept. Nothing but good things to say about my experience, don't hesitate to book. Can't wait to return for future events.
