As a professional braider, I take pride in my work, but I was recently asked to fix a set of braids that should have never needed repair so soon. I had an extremely disappointing experience with thebowner Tishala Gayden. I booked an appointment expecting professional service, but unfortunately, my hair was not done correctly. After expressing my concerns, Tishala, avoided acknowledging the mistake and initially offered to fix. My intuition told me not too and I just asked for $100 refund off a $345 boho braid hairstyle. I wont go back. They make you buy hair from their store but dont have a wide selection. Stylist was not 100% focused on my hair as a client and this contributed to my hair not being done properly. She used a hot comb on me when getting my box braids without permission. Im 100% natural and dont use heat on my hair especially at 500 temp setting. My braids now smell like burnt hair. Went in and the girls inside just stared at me and waited for me to leave. No hello. Received no help. I'm saddened by this, do better.
