Customer Service is a Nightmare – My husband & I purchased 2 leather sofas from the Avon location on May 29, 2011. We were told it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery. The sofas were finally delivered 12 weeks later on August 20, 2011. Upon delivery, both sofas had damage to the leather, broken feet, peeling color, and unfinished threads. We were told we must accept them (new sofas were not an option) and that the service department would take care of the repairs. Godby's Return/In-store Credit Policy – We purchased a sofa, love seat, and two matching recliners totaling a little over $3,000 at the Avon Godby store. The material on the show-room recliner would not work with our decor, so we picked a different material for the recliners. When the furniture was delivered, we immediately noticed that the inside backs (the vertical part that you lean against) on both recliners looked lumpy as though there was not enough filler in the backs.
