I’m a bit late to this review but I cannot recommend island lake marine enough. I was a customer of the nearby marina, and there was an emergency with my boat this past summer. Jared and Jake rushed to help, stayed hours past when I’m sure their shifts ended, and my boat would not have been recovered if it weren’t for them. They had zero responsibility to help, but they did, and that just shows what good people they are. We had a terrific time on the water with Dane! We are a non profit that serves individuals with developmental disabilities. Dane was very accommodating to us and showed us a great time and was able to make things happen within our budget. This was an exciting outing for all in the group, one many may not have otherwise had. The boat was beautiful and Dane wore many hats to ensure the group was having a terrific time including Olympic quality surfing behind the boat. We can’t wait to go back!
We had an incredible experience with Island Lake Marine & Sports! We booked a 3-hour private charter on a brand-new Centurion boat, and it was perfect for our two families—four adults and five kids. There was plenty of space, and the boat was immaculate. Dane was our captain, and he was fantastic—patient, upbeat, and great with the kids. He taught them how to wake surf (even the beginners!), and then gave them the thrill of their lives with some high-speed tubing. He made the day easy, fun, and memorable for all of us.
