I couldn’t be happier with my GOBI Stealth roof rack for my 80 Series Land Cruiser. I went with the sunroof insert and ladder setup, and the whole system is incredibly well thought out. The rack is extremely sturdy, fits the vehicle perfectly, and honestly looks like it should have come from the factory that way. I bought my GOBI rack for my jeep a few years ago and I’ve loved it! It has held up well over time and I’ve had no issues. I met a rep from GOBI today at overland expo,Jose Ramirez and he was exceptionally helpful! He was very excited to talk to me about my setup and make suggestions for other accessories to improve my Jeep! I really appreciate this company, and every interaction I’ve had with them has been top notch!
I had an extremely frustrating experience with their customer service team. From the start, it felt like they had no interest in actually helping me resolve my issue. The representative was dismissive, gave vague answers, and didn’t make any effort to understand the problem. I was passed around without getting any real assistance, and every response felt scripted and unhelpful. Shoutout to Paul at Gobi Racks and the rest Staff. They were super helpful. Paul was is very knowledgeable and patient. He's experienced with how these racks work and how they can be suitable for various applications and after market accessories; he saved me a lot time and headaches in purchasing the correct cross bars, lighting, and accessories based on my new rooftop tent's overhang dimensions.
They never answer the phone or emails. (Tried calling close to 50times over the course of a few days) Tried to get a rack installed, had to give up. Shame that such a good rack has such poor customer service to back it up. Pass on this one
