I booked and paid for a van at Lichhardt that wasn't available and I did not find out until I'd arrived at the pickup location when the booking was supposed to start. I called customer service who told me there was one available in Mascot. After travelling there I looked up the vehicle details and it was located in Melbourne. I called up and asked for a refund which they said they couldn't do because my booking was at 9am and it was now 11am. Do not waste your time.
Very disappointing experience. After returning the vehicle, a minor cosmetic mark was flagged and I was charged a significant amount from my $500 security deposit. The mark was clearly superficial and consistent with normal wear and tear, yet the company insisted it was “beyond fair wear and tear” without providing proper evidence or a clear breakdown of costs.
