We would leave 10 stars, if we could! After a day at Funtown, our family got takeout from this restaurant. We were a little late (and they closed at 7pm). The lady was so sweet and told us not to worry. She then offered us to stay there and eat even though it was closing time. Service was 10/10. The food was excellent! We will definitely be back.
10/10 Portion to Price ratio is spot on Great flavor - jerk chicken&pork is phenomenal and the curry chicken dinner hits the spot every time. If you’re considering trying it I highly recommend! Unrelated to the food - Order ahead on clover and look into Paze - they are running a $10 off promo until September. (Similar to Apple Pay)
I know it's Maine but no excuse for hard dumplings, day old plantain and greasy Callaloo , the oxtails were skimpy and gravy thin, you can't mess up rice and peas but cabbage was flavorful ! Unfortunately this ain't it , especially for the price 55$ for a plate a side dish and 2 drinks ROBBERY ! We called and complain , and all she could offer was sorry and she would make fresh dumplings smh lol they already supposed to be fresh tho #beware
I came here because Google showed that the restaurant was open, but when I arrived it was closed. It was a disappointing waste of a trip. I hope the business updates its hours online so others don’t run into the same issue.
Food was blood clart good me mash da oxtail just too expensive for 2 oxtails in a large but to be honest I’m not mad but big momma can come down on that price a bit for 2 oxtails in large I know the bumbaclart old orchard $$$ but it’s all one love me feel Jamaican after this meal
