I could write an essay on why you shouldn’t hire him but here’s 3 examples: Our agreement and invoice both said he was supposed to install new base molding throughout (all materials included). Instead, without saying a word about it to me, he painted the existing ones and refused to install new ones. My husband contacted Gene over the summer to stain our deck. He responded immediately, gave us a quote and started the job immediately. Unfortunately that is where his responsiveness ended, once he was paid. He left parts of the deck unfinished as you can see in the pictures.
