They are a scam! I paid upfront for my parents and they never travelled. The policy was never activated and thus was never used. I got my policy through a broker and was told that I can extend within first two years. When I called to get the policy extended I was told that they cancelled it and can’t extend the policy and wont reimburse me either. So policy never activated was considered cancelled and money dumped into the sinkhole (GMS).

Customer Service Rep knew exactly how to solve my issue. He (Arjay) was clear, to the point, super polite and patient. Customer Service aside, I was shopping around for personal health and dental as I lost group coverage with my employer, GMS offered the best rate per plan value... and their portal is remarkably user friendly.
I had a very disappointing experience gmc health insurance. I purchased a policy for my parents, but they never traveled to Canada, so the policy was never used. When I reached out to customer service to request a refund for the unused policy, they refused to return my money. It is extremely frustrating to pay for something and receive nothing in return. Their customer service was unhelpful, and their policies are unfair. I do not recommend this company to anyone looking for fair and transparent service.
